Blank were the faces I saw
In the village huts and farms
Cold were the eyes I looked into
of men, women and children
Speechless were the throats
silenced by poverty , illiteracy and ignorance
Dull was the routine
with no ambition, passion or hope
Shocked was me
to see such state of life
But Deaf was me
to ignore the shriek cries
